Pours a clear golden with minimal white head. Malty with some caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with a semi sweet finish.

Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts malty, fine spicy, strong, without being too much. Some grasy-flowery notes, modest sourish. Finish well balanced. Okay.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig würzig, Geschmack angenehm malzig würzig mit ganz minimaler Bitterkeit.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairy lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and cautious malty aroma. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly soapy, cautious pale malty basis.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 7.10.2013
Aroma has malty notes, honey and hints of grain. Flavour has malty notes, honey, some herbal tones and grain. iFinishes with herbal notes. Quite close to a (light) maibock. Starts quite heavy but becomes easy-going towards the end of the glass. Weird, usually it is vice versa.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized, minimal tanned foamy head. Sweet, slightly milky and yeasty malty aroma with a tinge of biscuits and spicy hops. Sweet and even a bit sugary flavour, medium body with a smooth carbonation. Slightly yeasty and bready malty taste with notes of biscuits. Sweetish and faint bitter finish with bready notes in the aftertaste. Too sweet for my liking (21.I.09).

Bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck! Golden, a bit unclear, mid-sized lacy white head; sweet-grainy nose with some shy hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; hoppy edges in the sweet-malty finish. Nice Märzen.......
