Pours a clear golden color. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and not much more. The flavor has notes of malt, hay, bread and the finish is a bit bitter with notes of straw.

07-10-18 // 1000ml bottle shared, bought at the brewery. Clear golden. Grainy, light malt sweetness, mild. Okay.

Tap @ Neuenahrer Brauhaus. Clear golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light to moderately bitter, light malt bitter. Quite nice although my description makes it sound quite boring I know. Can’t describe it any better but it tastes fine. Suitable average to decent body and carbonation. Nice.

On tap at the Brewpub. Goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Draught at the brauhaus
Light blond color. The aroma is lightly corn-ish; and the flavor indeed goes in the same direction, also with light traces of honey; ordinary bitterness. Simple.

Würzig-getreidiger Antrunk, wenig aber durchgehend malzig. Im Mittelteil etwas würziger werdend, angenehm. Deutlich hopfig wird es ab dem hinteren Mittelteil, im Abgang bleibt es hopfig, eine leichte herbe stößt hinzu. Der Hintergrund wirkt etwas wässrig. Tap from brewpub. Nice creamy, barley malt aroma. Medium yellow color with small head and mild effervescence. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt and mildly bitter herbal/hay hops flavor. Good body. Nice creamy aftertaste. An excellent Helles.
