Butilka: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, stable off-white foamy layer, moderately sweet nose of dried fruits and caramel, faint traces of toasted malt and/or molasses and a small amount of herbal hops still detectable; moderate to nearly solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, soft; lingering and well balanced sweet-fruity and bitter finish, toasted malt in the aftertaste. (bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby amber colour with a beige and firm foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, as well as a delicately sour touch and fruity (berries, cassis, umeboshi), also slightly woody hoppy notes, accompanied by yeasty spice. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a well-carbonated, slightly spritzy mouthfeel. Slightly dark malt character with hints of caramel combined with a present fruitiness; moderately sweet, fruity and slightly tart finish with a fruity and delicately resiny hoppy aftertaste. 330ml bottle. Fantastic, slightly cloudy, ruby red colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of black currant, blueberry, bramble, plum, earthy background. Taste is dry, minimally tart, fruity, subtle sweetness, notes of blue and dark berries, blue grapes and their parings, minimally roasty malty background; dry finish. Very nice. Resembles in colour and taste a rye ale.

Bottle from Johannes. Brownish orange with a large firm head. Aroma is fruity orange malt. Flavour is dusty, syrupy malt, a warming background. A little roast on a sweet finish.

330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes rötlich-oranges Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, hopfig, würzig. Geschmack sehr malzig süß, fruchtig, bitter, dunkle reife Früchte, würzig.
