The American Pale Ale is Glutenberg’s first incursion in the universe of hoppy beers. A savoury concoction with citrusy notes, this beer perfectly showcases the brewery’s versatility. Its orange and grapefruit aromas softly temper the straight-up character of American hops by endowing it with a slight touch of bitterness. The result is a delectable, balanced, resinous and full-bodied beer.

Can. Pours a murky burnt orange, with a small off white head. Aroma. Is incredibly grassy, and oddly sweet, and nothing resembling hops. Mouthfeel is thin, and watery, carb is very soft. Finish is sweet, grassy, lightly butter with some odd caramel, tropical fruit think going on. What the hell is this?

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of millet, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of millet, corn, grapefruit, grass and herbal hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not great, but actually not bad as far as GF beers go.

16 oz. can purchased at Earth Fare, Viera, FL. Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head and very good retention. Good lacing. Has a sour-ish light hoppy aroma. Faux beer flavor with a faint hops finish. I guess it's okay if you have to be gluten free, but I don't. Tick.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a hazy vibrant golden-peach color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was grainy and a touch herbal with a floral hop presence. The flavor was bitter and grainy with medicine, perfume and floral hops. Long finish. Medium body.

473ml can from Saveur Biere. Yellow-brown amber colour, white foam head and aroma of buckwheat and fruity hop. Taste is buckwheat, corn grain, sweetish, and spicy with an orangey citric hop bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a slight fizzy white head. Nice citrus aroma, mayhap including grapefruit. Med body or nearly. Flavor starts nicely citrus hop, and then sort of loses with no hop support. Or not nearly enough. Getting some sort of hot burn in the finish. Each quaff starts nicely, and then it doesn’t go well. Gluten free seems to work best when the gluten is removed from real beer. Widmer does some contract beers like that. http://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/omission-beer-company/16562/
