On tap at the Brewpub. Leicht trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Karamell, röstmalzig, Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, schokoladig, Karamell.

Rotbraune Farbe, malzig-süßlicher Geruch. Der Antrunk ist malzig-süßlich, schön mild und angenehm säuerlich. Zum Hauptteil kommen leichte Röstmalzaromen hinzu, Schokolade, leichte Espressoaromen. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, angenehm milchschokoladig-röstmalzig und toll weich. --> Ein total leckeres und sehr zu empfehlendes Dunkel. Nur wenn ich mir die Ergebnisse meiner Vortester anschaue, dann scheint es deutliche Qualitätsschwankungen zu geben… Das erklärt auch das katastrophale Helle… (Test vom 16.6.2009) --> 12,13,12,12,12,12 - 12,15

On draught at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark brown color with a thick and foamy light beige head that dissipates slowly. Aroma of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild hops. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, hops and a bit of chocolate. The finish is malty with a lingering sweetness left behind. Decent overall.
