Draught at the brauhaus
Dark brown color, almost black; creamy beige head. There is a mild aroma of roasted malt and cookies. The body is quite weak, with mild flavor of roasted and black malts. It goes in the direction of a Schwarz. Simple.

The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass like a dark hefeweizen. Malty aroma. Starts malty, not too dry, a bit washy. The finish is not very intense. The first gulp is better than the last. Thanks to Koelschtrinker for the bottle!

Bottle from brewery. Molasses malt and peppery grass hops. Dark brown color with small head. Mildly astringent chocolate/coffee malt - very stout-like. Excellent - one of the best I’ve ever had.

Herb-malziger Antrunk, mild, ab dem Mittelteil etwas wässrig. DIe Malzigkeit isthier deutlich schwächer und wirkt etwas erdig. Im ABgang leicht röstig, mittel-intensiv, die Wässrigkeit ist glücklicherweise in den Hintergrund gerückt. Zuletzt wird das Bier noch mal röstiger. Nicht wirklich überzeugend. Test vom 19.5.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,7,8,6,-,6 - 6,78
