0.5l bottle. Black body with a huge beige head. Aroma of bread, cocoa, caramel and cherries. Taste of cocoa, cerries, plums and caramel. Very nice beer. It has been a while since I had a schwarzbier, but after this one maybe I start to keep an eye on this style.

And again a 0,5 l bottle from Kristall-König. Big big thank you! Nearly black in the glass, only reddish edges. Big foamy beige head. Low roasty malt on the nose. Taste starts with a lot of toasted malt, like "Blockmalz Bonbon" back in the days from my grandma. Sweetness in the background. Caramell and spicy bedding. Interesting!

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest sweetish, light dry background. Finish mild, almost a bit washy. Should show more character. Okay.

Bottle(Dank an Mariusz!):Deep ruby-amber coloured, quite stable off-white head; some dryish caramelly-toasty notes in the nose, mild traces of nuts and dried fruits; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering, slightly drier and a bit more bitter malty-caramelly finish. O.K., still nothing special…

Thanks to kevnic2008 for this beer. Smooth in the beginning, darker in the mainpart. Hints of chocolate or espresso, but not very intense. The aftertaste is dry, hoppy, hints of chocolate and roast, but not very intense. The body is a bit watery and could be much more intense, to become a "real" Schwarzbier! 7/12/8/7

8/9/9/12/11/11
