Piwo Gniewosz o smaku korzennym zostało przygotowane jako autorski projekt piwowarów Browaru Czarnków inspirowany recepturami Marcina z Urzędowa. Żyjący w XVI wieku Marcin z Urzędowa, lekarz, zielarz wydał w 1595 roku „Herbarz Polski” – dzieło przyrodniczo-lecznicze uważane za pierwszy podręcznik farmakognozji. Według jego zapisów, grzany napój wzbogacono o owoce z przydomowych ogrodów: porzeczki czarne, czerwone, maliny, winorośl i aronie. Owoce suszone użyte do „grzańca” to śliwki, jabłka, gruszki, a z owoców dziko rosnących tarka i głóg. Dodatki takie jak cynamon, wanilia, goździki, imbir, gałka muszkatołowa kupowano. Dodawano również miód z własnych pasiek.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a small, off-white head. Honeyish aroma. Medium body, very low carbonation - bordering flat - again honey, but also cherries I think. Hardly any hops at all. Very unusual but quite interesting actually. 021017

bottle from PoloMarket Boleslawiec. Brownish colour, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of honey and gingerbread. Medium-bodied, lots of honey and gingerbread spices, not too sweet though.

Many thanks to kevnic2008. Sweetish herbal malty beginning. Brown sugar with medicine. The aftertaste is very interesting: Lots of herbal aroma, but too much brown sugar. Great but a bit too sweet combination. On the tongue remains a medicine-like herbal and brown sugary aroma!

Süß malziger Beginn, kaugummiartig. Etwas Minze, Brause, zu süß. Schmeckt mir gar nicht. 8/6/6/5/9/5

Vielen Dank an kevnic20008! Das Getränk hat eine Farbe wie Cola und wenig bräunlichen Schaum. Geruch nach Honig, Gewürzen und Früchten. Geschmack sehr süß, Honig, dunkle Früchte, leider kein Geschmack von Bier.

Bottled 330ml. -Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, very perfumed fruity nose (honestly quite annoying). The taste is also pretty perfumed with notes of caramel and odd fruits in rather sweet finish. Also some honey and maybe herbal roots. Not good.
