Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Sweet, mild barnyard barley malt flavor. Decent body. Really like the rural notes in this one.

Bottle: Clear, greenish-golden coloured, quickly diminishing white fluffy head; moderate malty-grainy nose with some hints of straw; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet pale-malty, a bit strawy again, finish with a light hoppiness. Quite O.K. ........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet pale malty aroma with a draffy scent, which seems to be part of the house character of the Franken Bräu beers, accompanied by a shy and subtle fruity, herbal hoppy note. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, almost crispy carbonation. Pale malty taste, again with a tinge of draff, subtle citrus-fruity and herbal accents, leading into a dry-ish, slightly hoppy finish. Another clean and fresh brew from Franken Bräu (05.VI.09).

The bottle looks normal, the beer in the glass very good. Very zippy, fine foam. Starts very malty and continues like this. Should be a little bit more spicy. An average beer!

Bottle, 5.1%. Nice aroma of fresh grain. The flavour is not so nice, sewery malty and sweet.

A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of hops, while the flavor is cleanly sweet malty.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Clean, malty aroma. Medium-bodied with sweetish, malty accents. The finish is dry though. 220906
