I had the normal distortion, and their randall version with amarillo at the mondiale 2014. The regualr version had a big citrus aroma, loads of zest, and citrus oils, with a faint but present malt back bone. Medium to high bitterness. Intense citrus ptih bitterness, i love it. Great grapefruit, and light pine finish, a promissing young brewery.

Fles gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Geel oranje-achtig troebel bier. Aroma is hoppig. De smaak is eveneens hoppig en kruidig, voor mij iets te hoppig zelfs. Nasmaak is ook bitter.

Bottle shared with TomHendriksen. Hazy yellow color, full sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, moderately fruity. Taste malts, hops, lightly fruity, a bit floral, moderately bitter. Well, ok to decent but "American IPA"? Mwah.

Bottle from Chez Ben. Murky orange amber with a large fluffy cream coloured head that fades slowly and leaves lots of tight lace. Nose has light caramel and honey with citrus, orange peel, lavender and hibiscus, pine, tropical fruit with hints of pepper, yeast, soap and marmalade. Light+ sweet malt under a big bitter middle and finish of grapefruit, resin and tangerine. Mouth is medium+ and silky with average carbonation. Interesting hop profile but seems a little busy. 8/4/7-/4+/15

500ml bottle from Beer Republic. Bottled 09/11/17 :(. Pours orange with a massive foamy head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, pine, citrus, old hops, hints of fruits and grass. Taste is stingy fruity, citrusy and grassy with some pine, old hops, grapefruit and caramely malts. Finish is stingy hoppy, grassy and caramely malty with some pine, resin and citrus. Not very fresh, unfortunately.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, hints of orange zest and marmalade. Taste is punchy bitter hoppy, piney, sweet-ish caramel malty backbone, cautious citrusy hints of lemon, orange zest, marmalade; smooth, soft, silky palate. Classic, definitive West Coast IPA.
