Bottle: Hazy, nutty-amber coloured, bid and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head; moderate dry herbal-hoppy nose with a distinctive sweetish toasty/caramelly Background; drymoderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied and a bit too tart; dry herbal-grainy and fruity finish, barely balanced by sweet malt. Spicy, but not so well balanced...

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkeloranges Bier mit geringer beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, hopfig, blumig, reife Früchte. Geschmack sehr hopfig, fruchtig herb, etwas Karamell, etwas viel CO2, würziger Abgang.

33cl bottle bought at Berliner Bierfestival. Pours slightly hazy amber with a large, off-white head. Malty aroma with noticeable herbal and hoppy notes, hints of caramel and pine. Moderate sweet with a pleasantly hoppy and fairly bitter and slightly dry finish. Tasty and refreshing. More in the direction of American amber than German pilsener. Interesting one.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, copper colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, slightly piney and fruity hoppy aroma with notes citrus, grapefruit and red berries, traces of cara-malt in the background. Quite bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Somewhat raw hoppy character, including piney/resiny and fruity accents on a slim cara-malty base; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with lingering resiny and subtle fruity accents. Not bad, but I prefer 50cl bottles for my “Molotovs”. 21.VIII.14

330ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, decently lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Piney, floral and slightly resinous, hoppy aroma, punk style dirty-spicy-yeasty background, cautious malty basis with a dry, nuttily touch of nut pellicle. Taste is slightly floral, bitter hoppy, fresh grassy hop notes, a dry, cautiously nuttily touch. Concerning style more Crossover than Punk: Pilsener-Amber Lager-Brown Ale. Concerning everything else I’d like to quote a section of what is cited on the label: "Diese Mischung ist wirkungsvoll, denn diese Mischung knallt ganz doll." And beyond that, more ’Slime’ for the adepts: "Ich brauch’ dich, am liebsten jeden Tag, Denn du päppelst mich auf, wenn ich down bin. Ich glaub’, es ist der Alkohol, den ich an dir mag. Mit dir hat das Wochenende einen Sinn." Not to forget the most inspirated line: "Ich spür’s sofort, du bist ein ganz schöner Brecher, und nicht nur das, wenn du alle bist, bist du ein geiler Aschenbecher."
