Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold with small white head. Aroma of gooseberry, grains, light citrus zest, honey. Taste of honey, gooseberry, malts, lemon. Smooth medium body. I've found previous honey beers to be either too syrupy sweet or too much bittering hops to compensate. This one has a more subtle touch and it seems to work better. Possibly the best one I've had so far.

Bottle @ You’ll Never Walk Alone, Kolding. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of honey and hints of hops. Sweetish flavour of malt, honey and yeast, with mild, bitter notes of hops. Estery aftertaste with honts of hops and rough touches. Well-balanced and easy to drink. Bamsen is impressed! 😊🐻

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, orangey, dark golden colour with small, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, minimally floral and spicy, hoppy aroma, notes of gooseberry, pale berries in general, hints of honey. Taste is crisp, fruity and minimally floral hoppy, hints of berries, gooseberry, sweet-ish, minimally watery, pale malty background with a touch of honey. Nice.

Flasche: Deep golden, a bit hazy, mid-sized and quite stable off-white head; sweetish-grainy, surely a bit honeyish, nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied, pretty soft; mild and only slightly lingering pale-malty and delicately hoppy finish. Not exciting, but quite nice…

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly hopped, and the flavour is dry and bitter with some yeastiness. Overall a nice bitter golden ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Fruity and flowery hoppy aroma with notes of cara-malt and a distinctive touch of honey. Moderately sweet flavour, quite light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim, honey-ish malty base with a tinge of biscuits and a mildly fruity and flowery hoppy background; sweet malty and restrained bitter finish with hints of honey and subtle fruity notes. Slim but okay and refreshing. 27.X.14

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a nice head. Nose - honey and cereal. Taste - honey nut cornflakes. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - not as sweet as the nose suggested it would be. Quite pleasant.
