Yellow with a dense head. Wheat-aromas: banana and fruity esters. Sweet and refreshing ending on a dry note.

Tap at Wittmans Zolhaus tap, Landshut Sud - 14/07/12. Hazy golden yellow with a good finger of off-white head. Wheat, banana, clove and pale malts on the nose. Taste exactly as nose with a little less focus on the banana compared to some weizens. Medium bodied, average carbonation for style. Drinkable weizen but no show stopper!

Bottle. Sweet banana, peach, clove and wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy tan-yellow color with large white head. Sweet-tart lemon peel, banana and wheat malt flavor - lighter, drier flavor than the aroma would seem to indicate. Nice summer beer.

The bottle looks a bit complex, the beer in the glass is much better. Light yellow, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, quite dry-floury from the beginning on. Modest fruity notes of lemon. Finish more floury, all in all too dry. Not my favourite.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, medium-sized - slowly collapsing - white creamy head; light to moderate yeasty-wheaty nose with a tinge of cloves; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, quite soft, medium bodied; increasing lemony sourness towards the fruity-wheaty finish. O.K. Weizen..........

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big foamy white head. Classical Weizen aroma with a present wheat-malt character, banana, vanilla and a tinge of cloves. Mildly sweet flavour with a rounded level of acidity, light to medium bodied with a well-matured and crispy carbonation. Wheaty and banana-fruity taste with notes of citrus and vanilla; moderately sweet and sour-fruity finish with soft spicy notes. Aromatic and balanced Weizen. 12.IX.09

bottle, bought either in Wolnzach, Siegenburg or Vohenstrauß. Cloud orange colour, large head. Intensive aroma of banana. Very banana-like flavour with a good wheaty base and a yeasty character.

Re-rate from small bottle. Love the retro label on that one. Dusty and grainy nose. Cloudy golden, low head. Banana, hay, vanilla, clove. Chewy body. Fresh, light sweetness in the aftertaste.
