Can pour to pint glass. Light, pale yellow. Solid mild hops, mild bitter taste. I can’t put my finger on why, but this beer just doesn’t work for me.

Canned@SBWF2014. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some bready malts along with some strange sweetness. Flavour is grassy, floral, mild citrus along with some bready and quite sweetish malts as well. Simplistic.

Can at SBWF2014. Golden color, small white head. Ryeish, papery aroma. Light-bodied. Grainy, grassy, malty aroma. Lager-like. No, there is some hoppyness.

Bottled at SBWF. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Fruity grassy nose. Mid sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Butter, grass and citrus before a mid bitter finish. Relaxed.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/20/2014. Pours lightly hazy bright gold color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy/floral hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange zest, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice and well balanced pale malt and earthy/floral hop flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Does not feel watery at all. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good blond ale. Well balanced pale malt and earthy/floral hop flavors with good robustness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.
