Like an Irishman on holidays in the Canaries, this beer has a red glow with a chilled out mellow feel. A traditional Irish style with a twist, the subtle caramel notes are balanced with a hoppy aroma.

Bottled - love the name. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry and boring finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale, hazy amber with a rough, white head. Slightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts and then an odd chemical tang which must be some fermentation error. Hardly any bitterness. A little late ashtray. 260713

Bottled, from The Drink Store, Dublin. Hazy orange colour, small head. Sourish nose. Tart with some lemon and mild toasty malt. Light-medium bodied with clan mouthfeel and slightl ymetallic finish. Retains traces of drinkability, but like all other bottles I boug from this brewer it is clearly infected.

This brew pours a hazy bronze-orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and hops. Light body with a sweet malt character and notes of grassy hops and ripe fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Half a pint on tap at Oโ€™Neills in Dublin. Clear amber with a beige, slightly creamy head. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops with hints of fruits and some spicy and roasty notes. Medium body with light to medium carbonation. Lightly sweet and malty with a slightly bitter finish and aftertaste. Easy to drink and quite pleasant. Nice and refreshing Irish Red. (2011-06-11)

Bottle. A creamy, off-white head forms over a amber colored body filled with micro floaties. Some lacings. Lighlty spiced aroma with caramel maltyness and some licorice hints. Itโ€™s smooth on the palate, with some licorice and spices, caramel maltyness and a touch of dried fruits. A bit sweet maybe, but it suits the beer. A nice one indeed, unusual, but very tasteful. 111105
