Clear deep red amber, lot of small bubbles, small but dense frothy off-white head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Malty aroma, caramel, fruity undertones, berries, orange peel, biscuit, floral. Taste medium sweet and bitter, toffee, malty. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste mild bittersweet, dry fruity malts in the finish, pleasant Red Ale.

Bonito color miel oscuro. Escasa espuma. Aroma escaso. Pero no en la boca. Miy agradable, con un tono muy lupulado, frutal naranja, mezclado condulce caramelo, en unconjunto suave y muy muy bebible. Equilibrada y notable.

Bottle at the Long Dock, Carrigahalt, 05/12/14. Reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is biscuit, toffee, malt tones, toasted brown sugar. Taste comprises caramel, red berry fruit, biscuit malt, sweet tones, light hop presence. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style, good balance, some hops evident, not one that runs the blandometer into amber!

12 oz bottle. Pours a translucent reddish brown, medium to small off white head, very little lacing. Aroma of bread, caramel, tropical fruit, marmalade. Taste is the same. Extremely well balance, and for a style that is usually overwhelmingly sweet malt that becomes cloying after a very short time, this is a rarity due to being enjoyable bottle after bottle, good session ale.

Bottle bought in Dublin. Deep amber coloured, almost copper, with a thin head. Has a sweet aroma with a nice light caramel texture and taste. Somewhat gritty in the palate, there’s a very light spice evident.

Aroma - caramel malts, slight farmyardy notes, touch of red berries, light nose
Taste of caramel, touch of berry fruits, not a lot going on here
Palate - soft carb, light body, bit oily, soft sweet, slightly bitter. Finish - rather dry, then some soft fruity caramel.
Overall - Not a bad Irish red, soft flavours, a bit dull tbh

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Maierovicz’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Murky dark orange-amber with a beige head. Yeasty aroma with of fruitiness, some caramel and malt. Sweetish flavor with yeast, malt, some fruitiness, a bit of caramel and a finish with a bit of bitterness. Medium-bodied.
