Like an Irishman on holidays in the Canaries, this beer has a red glow with a chilled out mellow feel. A traditional Irish style with a twist, the subtle caramel notes are balanced with a hoppy aroma.

Bottle @ home. Beautiful somewhat clear ruby red color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly a sweetish hint initially, nice hop bitterness, decent hoppyness overall, moderate to medium bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Shared bottle at the 4th International Beer Swap in De Bierboom, Brugge on 5th Feb 2016. The only Irish beer I saw at the event. Haze to the red/brown body, fading beige head. Nose had grains, malty and chocolate like, as did the taste, leaning towards sweetness, yet there is a mild hop bitterness in the background. OK rather than Wow.
