Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours dark amber with an creamy light tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, little nuts, sweet fruits, jam. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, caramel, wood, nuts, sweet fruit. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, dry finish. 180916

0,33l bottle at home. BB 06.02.2017. copper / redish clear color, small off-white head. smells musty, light grape notes, some marzipan, a bit nutty, light fruity, hints of resin. nice smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, light herbs, tobacco, some burned malts, marzipan, nutty again, lightly fruity. finishes lightly dry and a bit roasty with notes of earth, dark fruity notes and light burned malt notes. overall rather enjoyable.

Sampled from tap at ’Uiltje Bar’. Clear, dark reddish amber with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and fruity aroma of red fruits, caramel and some nuts. Rather sweet, very malty and moderately fruity taste of caramel, candied red fruits and some nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice for the style, well-balanced and not too sweet.

Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Dark amber, little tanned head. Nose is very metallic, watery, weak herbs, insecticide, metallic, watery, weak. Taste is herbal, unpleasant watery, leaves, weak, rubbish,… Weak metallic watery brew. Pretty poor in my opinion.
