Like an Irishman on holidays in the Canaries, this beer has a red glow with a chilled out mellow feel. A traditional Irish style with a twist, the subtle caramel notes are balanced with a hoppy aroma.

Frothy beige head stayed on an opaque, reddish brown body.Looks good. Malt, dark berries demerara & sweet caramel aroma. Medium bodied. Feels big & airy on the palate with thinner, sharp, tingly back. Tastes much as the aroma with dark berries, demerara, pine & a bit hoppy on the finish.

Draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy amber color, dense creamy head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of peppery caramel. Taste is bittersweet malty and peppery. One of the better in this style that I’ve had.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish brown colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow, caramel malty aroma with a toasty and minimally nutty touch, minimally fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of green apple (parings), Taste is slightly dry hoppy, grassy, slightly toasty and bready malty basis, hints of grey bread, very cautious fruitiness with a touch of red berries and green apple.
