Black Magic Woman is a Stout.
Black Magic Woman is our interpretation of a unique stout with peat-smoked malt. This is a real “man’s beer”, with a lot of everything. It is brewed with roasted barley malts, birch-smoked malt, peat-smoked malt, caramel malts and ale malt. It is well-hopped in order to balance the hearty malt profile. Black Magic Woman is an excellent accompaniment to desserts, dark chocolate, strong cheeses. It is also allowed to drink it on its own, while relaxing in a good armchair watching a football match.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 12.02.18. Dark brown to ebony. Small pale brown head. Fine aroma of smoked malt, tar, creosote and old sea house houses. Fantastic taste of smoked malt, whisky casks and tar. Well balanced with medium bitterness. Quite dry.

Tap (Targowa, Wroclaw). Black with big beige head. Roasty, chocolate and delicate hint of booze in aroma. The same in taste with roasty bitterness and sweet finish. Like sweet liqueur, very nice and drinkable, warms a bit, generally very tasty.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Pitch black, dark espresso, gisher. Moderate peat and smoke, some dark molasses in the background, green grassy hops. The taste is really heavy on burnt malts, ashy, still some malts are there, and lots of green hops, pretty bitter. Very good.

Fra flaske på DØE Lokomotivhallen mai-16 (dag 2) med Steven: sort, med cappucinofarget skum. Kaffe, aske, læder, sjokolade. Tørr. "Bonfire and tasty" siger Steven. Mørke malter og bitter chokolade.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size (5 oz). Almost black color. Not much head. Aroma’s: tar, leather, mocha. Retronasal there’s more sweetness, mocha, tar and leather a bit subdues. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, smoky, light roasted bitterness. Body is medium to full. Low carbo. Long finish, rather bitter, hard roasted.

Black color with tan head, great lacing! Aroma is smoked ham, coffee, hints of berries. Taste is fresh ham, fruity, coffee, spicy/tangy, berries as well. Silky mouthfeel. Very good!

Pitch black colour, tan head. Smoky aroma, peat, chocolate and coffee. Quite bitter flavour, liquorice, ash, peat. Finish ash, smoke, bitter dark chocolate and liquorice. Nice.
