from bottle at Braukunst Live, Munich. amber cloudy color, small white head. very nice smell, fruity, malty sweetness, very light sour, kinda of hard to pick out anything in particular. full body, very slick, mango, light sweet alcoholic, hops, orange, citric, dry alcoholic / hoppy finish. quite interesting. I like it, not any particular flavors stick out much, but the mix is good.

750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Quite complex biscuity and caramel malty, predominantly citrusy fruity, also slightly resinous hoppy aroma; hints of almond, fruity notes of orange, orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, a touch of gooseberry, hints of liquorice. Taste is tangy, bitter hoppy, fruity, moderately sweet biscuit malty basis, some caramel and almond, marzipan, condensed fruitiness of marmalade. hints of red berries, liquorice, a papery touch as well. No leitmotif in this mingle-mangle.

0,75 l bottle from Bierzauberei. Orange hazy body with a beautiful, creamy, stable, snow white head, that leaves a good lacing. Aroma of yeast, citrus, different fruits, also grassy and sweet malt notes. Wonderful, smooth taste of yeast (Belgian?), different citrus and fruit notes, spices, nut, honey, sweet malt, some sharpness. Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a lot of carbonation, that gives this a champagne touch, with a long citric, bitter, slightly dry, slightly astringent finish, that isn’t too agressive. Fantastic! Smooth, complex, perfectly balanced, that isn’t as fruity as other DIPAs, but more elegant, with a great champagne and Belgian IPA touch. Perfect new year’s eve beer!
