(bottle) Hazy, dark amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty and quite fruity aroma with phenolic spices and a touch of cara-malt. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, medium to light bodied with a tame carbonation. Soft cara-malty base with hints of caramel, chocolate and slightly fruity notes; moderately sweet and delicately fruity-tart finish with a very restrained level of bitterness, but notes of chocolate in the aftertaste. Bouteille: Orangey to light amber coloured, hazy, average off-white foam; mild sweetish-fruity and dark-malty nose, presumably faint signs of infection detectable; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, combined with a delicate acidity, not soft and pretty light bodied for a Doppelkozel; moderate fruity-sweetish finish, both bitterness and acidity detectable. Pretty disappointing…

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Herbal hoppy aroma, a spicy yeasty touch, mild and cautious caramel malty background. Taste is slightly sweet malty, minimally chocolately, unspecifically fruity, undefinable hoppy, minimally tart; seemingly in the ultimate state right before turning sour.

Braukunst Live München 2015. Pours an orange colour with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wheat.

Sampled @ Braukunst Live München 2015 Trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, reife Früchte. Geschmack sehr malzig, viel Getreide.

Heller, wenig intensiver Malzantrunk, etwas laff. Erkennbarer Hopfen, der sich aber nicht so ganz zuordnen lässt. Eher wässriges Finish. 11/8/9/8//9
