Draft at the pub. Cloudy amber colour, smooth nose. The beer starts smooth and slightly sourish. Very easy to drink. Malt, grain. Hints of smooth breadiness. The aftertaste is smooth, yeasty soft, slightly malty-sourish. Very nice Brewpub-beer. --> 12/12/12/12

Draught at the brauhaus
Cloudy dull amber color with compact head (not a Dunkel color). Nice delicate aroma, malt, hinted sweetness, wäldhonig. Malt flavor, a hint of cereals, and some residual sweetness; correct bitterness; it has a light touch of grassy hops.
Strange beer, not a Dunkel by the book, it’s a pleasant beer, like a good Märzen, soft and lightly sweet.

(on tap at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, golden (not amber - Bernstein) colour with a short but stable foamy white head. Shy aroma, slightly herbal hoppy, slightly worty with faint fruity notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium body. Herbal hoppy taste on a soft malty base, quite balanced with a dry malty and light bitter finish. Average but pretty drinkable (03.10.06).
