Can from Beer52. Black pour with small tanned head, modest retention. Aroma of treacle, dark malt, charred wood, chocolate, hint of liquorice - very inviting. Taste of sweet toffee, liquorice, roasted malt, chocolate, a light smoky almost salted savoury aspect, raisins. Bitter and light boozy finish. Smooth full bodied and not overly sticky like some. Excellent.

Can 0,33 ltr: Opaque black coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with an little burn of alcohol. Hints of roasted malts, dark chocolate, citrus, caramel and vanilla.

Canned, 330 ml at Goblet. Black with medium beige head. Roasty, nice chocolate, cocoa, some coffee notes. Medium sweetness with touch of bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Sort med lys brun topp som blir liggende rundt kanten. Aroma; havre, sjokolade, ristet malt, karamell, kaffebønner. Smak; lakrisrot, sjokolade, ristet malt, plomme, karamell, kaffe, vanilje. Kraftig, silkemyk, fyldig, lang ettersmak.

Black with a frothy, dark beige head. Odd aroma—soy sauce, dankness, burnt herbs. It’s not drawing me in, but isn’t off-putting either. Taste is bitter with umami tones. Finishes much the same with just a touch of vanilla sweetness. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Admiring the different twist, but only partially sold on this one.

Black pour with a small tan head. Aromas of cream, milk, malt, pepper. Taste adds liquorice, cocoa, cocholate, roasted grain. Decent, but not overly boozy finish. Nice.
