Can. Very black with a tan head that settles to a fat coat. Pleasant but unassuming aroma of mocha, some roast, grass. So it goes. Smooth textured, lowish carbonation. Sweetish but with a firm bitter finish. Perhaps slightly more chocolate than coffee, supporting roast. An appropriate hint of alcohol at the end. Solid.

[33cl can from Beer52 as Konrads Imperial Stout.] A glossy black pour with a ring of tan head; rich vinous and chocolatey aroma; strong vinous taste to start with lots of bitter hops and a dry velvety chocolate malt body; then a dry fruity finish with boozy raisins and a gentle warmth in the throat. An excellent stout.

Pours jet black with a fine bubbled greyish/brownish head that recedes in relatively short time, leaving minimal lacing. Aroma: roasted malts, rather strong coffee, chocolate, a hint of something that stands in the middle of balsamic and spicy; all among a soft kind of feel. A relatively simple, but fairly potent and clean aroma. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with perfectly hidden abv and a nice warming touch. Excellent sweet/bitter balance in both mouth and aftertaste. Dry finish. As the smell suggested, this is a clean, relatively simple imperial stout with a touch of softness. Quite dense in body with average, fine-bubbled carbonation. A very nice softly full, creamy mouthfeel. I really like how this beer aims for softness/creaminess in mouthfeel but not in taste, where it is just a very good straightforward imperial stout. Lovely.
