En svært mørk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, røstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjær gjør dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

The color scheme of this coaster just reminds me of Teenage Fanclub.

30 November 2018. Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to Anke, tderoeck & 77ships! Hazy black with a lasting, thin, off-white head. Aroma of coffee bean, cream, salted peanut, milk chocolate, earth, blackcurrant. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, nutty with a hint of chocolate before building up a medium roasted bitterness, accent of coffee & subtle touch of sourish blackcurrant, warming up already in the mouth. Dry, peppery hoppy finish with lingering coffee roast & warming whisky alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. The people at the brewer's stand called it a standard IS, in the most classic way, and this is exactly it. Nothing too special or fancy here - still better than you average beer, of course.

Bottle at home. Pours completely black, very little head. Aroma is roasty, dark malts, coffee. Boozy and smooth. Smooth especially in mouthfeel, rich and big body. Flavour is rich and creamy, the oatmeal brings out this smoothness. Quite complex, with lots of coffee and cacao. Vanilla and Tonka bean, lots of dark malts. Finish is really roasty and a tad burnt. Lovely impy.
