Double Rice India Pale Ale. This gold colored West Coast style Double India Pale Ale has an intense hop nose, with aromas mainly of citrus. The high hop character dominates this IPA’s flavor profile. Made with American long grain rice, it is quite difficult to make but the rice contributes to this beer’s crisp aftertaste.

HUGE citrus!!!! grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, lime, and lemon! this is a citrus lovers wet dream! very little malt to back the hoppy onslaught! if you love hops, and are not looking for balance, this is your beer!

Double Rice IPA. Aroma of malts, citrus, aromatic hops, tropical fruits such as grapefruit, pine, mango. Flavour is sweet fruits, citrusy and tropical fruit hops with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. This is a very tasty Double IPA!

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright light gold with a white head that was rather transient. Aroma is mostly citrus. Body is rather creamy. It's dry and quite bitter. The support is not very malty, so I'm going with the rice.

Can. Pours a clean light gold with a thin head of fizzy bubbles (more like soda fizz than foamy head). Aromas are crisp - a bit of sweetness (almost apple juice), a touch of floral and lemon, and maybe a little booze. First sip is a bit abrasive, both in terms of hop profile (jagged peppery and resinous notes with some lemon peel) and in terms of a bit of hot alcohol. It calms down considerably after that first punch, but it was a lot. The sharp edges never smooth entirely, however, and this one is just an edgy little punk.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma of citrus, stone fruit, melon and biscuit. Pours clear golden color with thin creamy white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel, dried fruit and resin, following is bready, herbal and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Rice above the stars…
