Double Rice India Pale Ale. This gold colored West Coast style Double India Pale Ale has an intense hop nose, with aromas mainly of citrus. The high hop character dominates this IPA’s flavor profile. Made with American long grain rice, it is quite difficult to make but the rice contributes to this beer’s crisp aftertaste.

4-pack cans from Kuhnhenn. Mild American hop nose. Pour is very light straw color, under a big foamy head. Taste is a high-test version of a light lager, but with extra sting of hops. Hop palate does become more pronounced the further down I go. Extra alcohol does become apparent, too. Just a touch of fruit on the tongue.

Keg ay Craft. Very clear amber colour with small white head. Aroma is lots of booze, bitter hops, touch of sour dairy, and maybe a bit of rice too. Taste is first of all boozy sweet and then hoppy bitterness. Something savoury in there too. Felt a bit like this one knocked me for six alcohol wise. Felt stronger than the 9.5%. Very nice though.

Can. Blonde. Citrus dominating the aroma. Citric, floral flavor. Hint of rye bread. Dry, not too hoppy, but solid.

12oz can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is sweet caramel malts some pine citrus hops and a floral kick. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel malts pine citrus bitterness and a pithy end.

12 oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour, fizzy head. Aroma is hoppy and lghtly fruity. Taste brings smooth malts with a huge hoppy bite. Light orange, minimally sweet. Bitterness stays on the palate. Sublime, smooth and strong.

Not much rice notes but I guess that comes from the high abv (which isn't too hidden), kinda rice on the finish I guess. Nice hops upfront at least.
