Fairly dark in color, medium amber at least. Pretty clear. Off white, sorta creamy head. Lots of caramel malt flavor in the aroma. Fruity, oniony hops. Fairly dank. Orange juice, grapefruit, pine, grass. Some apple cider, mild pineapple. Medium to strong bitterness - haven’t seen that in awhile with all of these Vermont-ish DIPAs around now. More onion and deeper, danker hop flavors. Lots of caramel malt with a touch of bubblegum. Fairly heavy on the palate. A touch sticky. Sorta boozy. I would have guessed that this beer was over 10% abv. Bit of a disappointment, though.

Strong clarity in this pale golden beer with ample carbonation and a strong brass tint. White head atop is medium-sized and wispy.
Yellow fruits kick off the nose with pineapple in the lead. Nectarine, apricot and such growing lightly resinous with softly prickly pine and white grapefruit taking over towards the finish. All the while, light honey and plentiful cracker-like malts sit in the background. Notes of cucumber, dill, black pepper and green, grassy vegetation are quite apparent. Alcohol pretty well-concealed, though there’s some minor heat on the end.
Similar to their other beers, there’s good attenuation, but some sticky/syrup character leftover mimicking rich honey. The carbonation is moderate and fairly engaging and bitterness isn’t obnoxious. Lots of cracker/biscuit and whitebread-like malts show through, almost outdoing the hop flavors on the finish. Some peach, pineapple, pine and grapefruit linger, with a strong overarching grassy element. Eh. It’s not a bad beer or anything, but I guess I’ve just been ruined/jaded by living in New England.

Tap @CBC16. Clear golden, white fluffy head. Fruity aroma, peach and pineapple. Flavour is dry and peachy with good caramel backing. Both juicy and dry.

On tap at CBC 2016. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Citrus and tropical fruit on top of a subtle malt body.

Poured from a 64oz growler. Aroma is fairly malty with some toasted bread, caramel, and cracker notes. Medium hop notes with a strong dank character to it. Onions, garlic and some lighter citrus and pine resin. Pours a fairly clear, copper amber color with medium sized, slightly off white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers thicker on this edges. Light lacing and medium length legs. Flavor has a medium light malt note with some toasted bread, caramel and dark cracker notes. High amounts of bitterness. Lots of dank onion hop notes but a bit more grapefruit and pine resin than in the aroma. Some light alcohol spice in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, I am not a fan. I’m not sure if my tastes have changed or if the beer has changed. It’s way maltier and the hop profile is way more dank than I remember.

Süßlich-dickflüssig. Leicht herb. Nice. intense, thick and viscous. Nice sweetish malty aftertaste, rich intense floral hops.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, citrusy fruity, pine, alcohol. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
