Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkUnclear - hazy matt medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet toffee - fudge, alcohol, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, alcohol, yeasty. IMO a bit messy - sorry Menno ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130503]

CBC. Cloudy dark amber with a lasting, off-white head. Fruity aroma with grassy and hay-like dry hop character. Sweet with hot alcohol dominating the flavour on top off grassy and aggressively bitter hops

Draught @ Haand Ølfestival 2013
Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol and floral hops. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, boozy and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

CBC. Cloudy amber beer, good cream coloured heaf. Light airy palate, slightly soft and semi dry. Rich malt - toffee and caramel. Alcohol spice. Lovely berry fruits like from a great vintage port. Mild wood and brett tones. Finishes semi dry. Stupidly drinkable. Thought this was a De Molen beer and that is high praise!

Sampled @ Haand 2013. Almost clear, dark golden body with a thin, short lasting off-white head. Aroma has strong alcohol influence with malt, oak and perfume. Flavor is strong alcoholic, warming liquor, malt, fruit and some bitterness. Fine body and alcoholic aftertaste. Quite boozy but some kind of balance here as well. Interesting.

Draft @ CBC 2013. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty spicy weak vinous dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty spicy caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy caramel finish with weak warming alcohol hints.

Tap at Festival der Bierkulturen. Hazy amber colour, fascinating tremendous action going on in the glass while the head is building up, ending with an average, creamy, lasting, lacing, off-white head. Caramel aroma, toffee, oak, hoppy overtones, hints of alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, toffee, oak, vanilla, dry hoppy overtones; alcohol is surprisingly widely hidden though effective as a matter of course. Approached this with respectfulness and was positively surprised by its drinkability. Respect!

No head. Aroma is slightly concentrated fruity, lots of hops, dried fruits, oak, grass, butterscotch. Taste is grassy, lots of hops, butterscotch, dried fruits, oak. Dry mouthfeel, longlasting bitterness. Interesting.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is light yeasty and caramelish. Light alcohol nose. Hoppy, teaish and dense toasted malty. Bitter and light sweet caramelish. Bitter and light sweet finish.
