500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, foamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine. Taste is minimally strawy, pale malty, and citrusy fruity hoppy, zesty hints of mandarine and lemon; thin, light, watery.

Nice dry grainy body. Easy to drink, grainy with a light body. Sessionable with a nice grainy light aftertaste.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 27.06.2017
Aroma is like a fruity IPA; tropical fruits, fruit juice and peaches. Flavour has strong bush leaves, some grapefruit and herbs. Foamy palate. Aroma was promising but flavour is rather harsh and disappointing. Not your typical kölsch.

Bottle from LBP, Nuremberg, 7/8/2015. Hazy gold, with a big, billowy, white head. Sharp, green, hoppiness with some lemon aroma. Yeasty flavours, with more sharp fruits and a dryish finish. Ok.

Weicher, ziemlich milder Antrunk, weich getreidig. Wenig hopfig, kurzzeitig bananig. Dann schnell abflachend, wässrig bitter, unausgewogen. Naja...8/7/6/6/8/6

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest malty, light hoppy background. Some fruity-fresh notes, a bit spicy. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Nice!

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a firm mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly biscuity and grainy malty aroma with hints of caramel and mildly fruity notes of citrus, pears and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Initially mildly biscuity malty with present herbal hops leading into the finish with reoccurring grainy malt in the aftertaste. Likeable interpretation of the style. 29.VIII.14

Bouteille: Golden to deep golden, hazy, mid-sized fluffy off-White head; sweetish grainy-yeasty nose; drier bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering yeasty-fruity finish with a mild hoppy aftertaste. Just O.K.; but You should drink better beers of that style in Colonia...
