Sample at Mikkeller and friends. Thin creamy off white head. Clear deep burgundy pour. Lovely brandy taste. Very nice brew.

CBC. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, vanilla and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030513

Tap @ CBC, 2013. Pours ruby amber with a creamy head. Tart and yeasty. Very malty and sweet oaky. Caramel.

Tap at CBC 2013. Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma is big vanilla, molasses, ripe fruits, caramel and chocolate. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of sweet oaky wood, malts, vanilla, ripe fruity hops and syrup. Taste is sweet, malty and oaky with notes of ripe fruits, syrup and wood. Finish is malty and sweetish. Nice, quite balanced.
