Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. Unclear, brown body with a tan to beige head. It has an aroma of caramel and spices, quite nice, but maybe a bit boring. Sweet and lightly spiced flavor as well, and a sweetish mouthfeel. A quite pleasant beer, but a tad anonymous. (070103)

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma was hoppy and grassy fruit earthiness. The taste was sweet caramel spice malt.

Amber color; huge head, nice lace. Nice aroma, malty, a bit fruity, subtle hops. The taste is quite sweet and malty, with some caramel and candi sugar. Not extremely complex, but pleasant.

Bottle, BBE March 2007 Frothy, light brown head, but the frothiness is rather nice. Reminds me a bit of cobwebs. Clear, deep brown (with a reddish shine) body. Soapy aroma of hops. Remarkable absence of malts as one would guess to smell when drinking a deep brown beer. Lightly bitter and sweet in the beginning. Smoothening out to the end (lightly bitter and sweet). Rather nice flavour.

Cloudy brown color. Raspberries, apples, oranges, flowery nose. Smooth, creamy mouth of chocolate raspberry juice. Sweet velvty finish. WOW this beer was really rounded. Very drinkable. Another great random find.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown with an underlying orange hue. Huge, bubbly, beige head which collapses rather fast. Unclear with a large sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Lovely aromas of dried fruit and some sweet caramel, but actually the body is rather light. The alcohol is dangerously well hidden. Limited bitterness in the finish. Unfortunately this is overly carbonated which is a major drawback in an otherwise excellent beer. 010605
