Bottle as Monks Café Flemish Sour Red Ale. Dark brown or bronze color, slightly yellowish foam. Interesting aroma: esters, fruity, light sourness, dried fruit. Sweet taste, slightly sour, dried fruit, caramel, wine, raisins, good.

Oak and cherry aroma. Sour taste with yoghurt, oak, cherry and apple. A bit thin, but very refreshing.

02.04.2015, 0,25l bottle (1995 vintage) @ Man in the Moon:
Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild and slightly dry, very mild vinegar, soda powder, sugar, oak, sorrel, red berries. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, grass, oak, very mild vinegar, cherry stones, weeds, berry skin, soda powder, minerals, red berries. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice enough, way better than expected.
