From bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malt and light breadish. Bitter, toasted, slight fruity. Lingering toasted and light breadish. Bitter and dry finish.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien as "Erzbergbräu Barbar ...aah! Festbier 5.5%", shared by me. yellow light hazy color, small white head. smells peppery, herbs, tobacco, a bit like green beans, a bit weird but OK smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, grains, grass, plums, light green beans again. finishes lightly with some tobacco and light plum notes. kinda weird one, the smell and taste is rather limited and its hard to make out any special notes, overall OK beer though.

Klare dunkel orange goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, kaum hopfig. Geschmack leicht karamellig, sehr malzig keine hopfigkeit vorhanden.

At Craft Bier Fest Wien. Very classic oktoberfest. Clean malty profile with toasted, burnt sugar and caramel notes. Sweetish in the beginning but promptly balanced with moderate bitterness. A good one.
