Pours a very dark brown color with a lacy tan head. Smoky and roasty aroma. The flavor is smoky, mildly sweet, and roasty.

Rauchig wässriger Antrunk, der außer herben Noten nichts zu bieten hat. Spritzig, säuerlich, trocken. Die Rauchigkeit bleibt konstant, sonst laff. 9/6/9/6/8/6

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Smoky round malty body. Very dry, smoke, roast. Nice intense bitterness. Round and fresh! Interesting brew!

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Pours almost clear deep orange reddish colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of smoked malt, bacon and caramel malt. Taste of smoked malt, bacon, some wood, caramel, okay!

bottle. Brownish colour with a beige head and a lovely smoky aroma. Medium-bodied, intensive smoke flavours there, not as strong as in a Schlenkerla, but definitely there and present. Perfectly balanced with a smooth palate.
