German & Lauret Stout is a very complex, dark and full tasting beer. A beer to sit down and enjoy the beautiful taste sensation. Coffee and dark chocolate, among other things, can be clearly distinguished in the scent. The beer has distinctly roasted accents and a nice bitterness.

Bottle tasted at UBF on 10/05/2014. The colour is very dark with tan head. The taste is chocolate and the aroma is coffee and chocolate too. Nothing special to notify. Next one please!

Nice stout beer, roasted and bitter, with the subtle aromatic sweetness of coffee and chocolate.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Dry, roasty dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, a touch of liquorice. Taste is dry dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, dry, minimally grassy hoppy overtones, a dry touch of fruit parings. Relatively light and almost a bit watery.

Tap at the Den Haag festival 2013. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt leading to a medium bitter, liqourice flavour with a little alcohol and some dark chocolate.

Pleasant roasty malt aroma with some coffee in there too. Texture quite smooth with just a light carbonation. Flavour is well balanced. The bitterness is not overpowering and the finish is quite smooth.
