Bottled 330ml. -Clear darker golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and light malty nose. Sweet malty, caramel, alcohol, light fruity and touch of honey with rather sweet finish.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, dark golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, minimally starchy, pale malty aroma, a touch of honey and cereals. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty, notes of honey, a touch of apricot jelly. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth, soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite cautious aroma, rather sweet, but enjoyable taste - a bit deficient overall.

# 3558; 4/2023. Malty, caramely, fruity aroma. Brilliant amber body; white head quickly disappeared. Caramel, alcohol warmth, sweet cherries. Good maibock. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Tübingen (Swabia, Germany).

Zu süßer, leicht herber Beginn. Noten von Holz, nussig, trinkbar. Okay, unspektakulär. 10/8/9/9//9

* Old rating, many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Best before 01.11.10. Malzig-grasiges, typisch Bockbieriges Bier. Nicht zu tief und ein bisschen unrund. Schade.

A clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is sweet and grainy like. Aroma is malty and grassy, sweet with typical malt sugar notes. Less hopy and floral as expected, easy drinkable but not exceptional at all.

Bottle looks good, beer in the glass also. Starts strong, fine spicy, some grasy-dry notes. Finish still strong, well balanced, spicy-malty, modest sweet. Very drinkable. Really good maibock!

Bottle (donated by Quack-Duck !): Golden, small, stable and a bit lacy head; sweet pale-malt in the background, but mainly cardboard and vegetables in the nose; light to medium bodied, a bit oily, as well, light salty (?) and sweetish-bitter flavour; short - again - salty and hoppy finish. almost a drainpour............

(33cl bottle, mit Dank an Steve Newman) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose with notes of marzipan and a grassy hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft to moderate carbonation. One dimensional, slightly perfumed malt-character with grassy and shy herbal notes; sweet and slightly bitter, malt-accented but rather short and slim finish. Uninspiring brew (16.07.08).
