(33cl bottle, mit Dank an Steve Newman) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose with notes of marzipan and a grassy hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft to moderate carbonation. One dimensional, slightly perfumed malt-character with grassy and shy herbal notes; sweet and slightly bitter, malt-accented but rather short and slim finish. Uninspiring brew (16.07.08).

bottle, bought at Zwiefalten brewery. Clear pale golden yellow, creamy white head. Full-bodied, malty, bitter-sweet and slightly fruity. Indeed "very vollmundig and malzbetont with dezenter hop note". The balance somehow seems rather unusual but this "strong support beer" is still quite good. Could someone translate the commercial description into real English? :-)
