Bottle, danke Günther. Amber, busy bubbles, low offwhite foam. Surprisingly spicy aroma - allspice and nutmeg notes, light orangepeel. Herbal hops, bready malt, very slight lightstruck notes. Chewy fullbodied, spicy finish. One to try fresh again.

Bottle: Golden coloured, mid-sized, quite stable white head; honey and sweet barley in the nose, supported by a delicate herbal hoppy aroma; mainly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet-malty finish with a faint bitter-hoppy aftertaste. A very decent, well rounded Doppelbock.....

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, grainy, cereal-like aroma with marzipan and a honey-fruity touch, backed by a delicate herbal, slightly floral hoppy note. Sweet flavour, pale malt character with cereals and honey; mdium to full bodied; sweet malty finish with a herbal hoppy, moderately bitter edge.
