Dunkler, cremig herb-malziger Antrunk. Angenehm röstig-karamellig im Mittelteil, süffig, steigende Würzigkeit. Langer malziger Nachhall. 9/10/10/9/9/10

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! Nice dark roasted beginning. Easy to drink and still round and nice. Hints of roast, hints of hazelnuts. Caramel, moderate grain and moderate bitterness. Nice and easy to drink Schwarzbier.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a firm and mid-sized tanned foamy head. Delicately roasted malty aroma with caramel and earthy notes. Moderately sweet and delicately roasty bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly roasty malty taste with hints of caramel, bread crusts and a shy hoppy touch; dry-ish and slim cautious roast-malty finish with a very restrained hops character. Too tame to be really enjoyable. 29.I.16

Bottle:Clear, ruby-amber coloured, big loose and stable off-white head, mild mineralic dryish toasty nose, traces of sweet caramel in the background; mild, as well, bitter-sweet flavour, unexpectedly very light bodied; shorter and not too dry caramelly-toasty finish with a delicate bitterness in the very end. Sigh! At least drinkable…
