(bottle) Clear, dark amber to chestnut-brown colour with a beige and medium-sized foamy head. Mildly bready and toasty malty aroma with nutty notes, caramel and a touch of herbal hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dry toast-malty taste with caramel, nutty and delicately ashy notes; dry and moderately hop bitter finish with herbal hoppy spice. Likeable Dunkel. 09.VII.16

Fläschla: Clear, copper coloured, small but quite stable loose off-white head; mild sweetish and bitter toasty nose with some papery aromas in the background;; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; drier and more bitter lingering toasty finish with some illusions of bitter chocolate. Mediocre aroma, but all in all quite well drinkable...
