Segal Ranch Session IPA features Tomahawk, Centennial and Cascade hops that were hand-selected by our Brewmaster exclusively from our friends at Segal Ranch in Yakima, Washington. The verdant pungency and citrus aromatics from Tomahawk hops serve as the perfect base layer to allow the flavors of bright floral and pine sap from Centennial hops to emerge on the palate. Notes of resinous citrus from Segal Ranch’s high-oil Cascade hops shine through the finish.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Foamy glass lacing white head. Soapy, piny, perfumy hop tones. A beast of a Session IPA, serious hop bitterness, though it does finish pretty clean. Big, classic NW hop tones, in a really good way. Well made. OK.

12 oz bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in Overland Park, Kansas. BEST BY 05 APR 16 F1598 on label. The pour is a clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is grassy bitter with floral. The taste is the floral grass bitterness along with a hint of resin and a touch of light cracker malt. Herbal floral bitter in the dry lingering finish. The plate is light bodied with active fine carbonation and the dry bitter finish. Nice character, easy drinking.

Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a pretty solid pine and citrus hop. Flavor is also a nice pine a citrus combo that finishes super bitter. Almost no malt presence except for a dryness after the swallow. Pretty solid session IPA. Plenty of west coast style hops and none of that real heavy caramel malt that overpowers some IPA’s. This beer I would get again.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma of pine/citrus. Med body! Flavor is light caramel backbone, some evergreen, and I think citrus. It’s quite bitter for the ABV, and heavily hopped. There’s not really enough backbone to support all the hop, but that’s typical of session ales, and better too much hop than not enough!
