Our Double Dry Hopped version of Melcher Street, this amped up American IPA features a heavy dose of Mosaic Hops. With a lively appearance of faded golden orange, DDH Melcher offers a massive nose of orange pulp, dried apricot, mango and passionfruit. The palate follows with additional flavors or pineapple and citrus sherbet. The delicate, biscuity malt character is contrasted with a gentle bite of floral hops and a dry finish.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy light yellow-light brown with no discernible sparkle, ring of off-white head with good retention and mild lacing. Aroma is herbal, grapefruit, pine. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with mild astringency. Overall, delicious strong aroma and flavor with minor flaws here and there.

Draught @ Trillium Fort Point (10 May 19). Extremely hazy orange-yellow with very small frothy whitish head, light apricot-citrus flavor, low carbonation, mildly bitter orange-pineapple-apricot taste, smooth somewhat thick body, long finish. Delicious.
