Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a golden color with a white head, ok retention. Fruity, light bready aroma. Taste has straw, citrus, bread, baking powderish sulphor notes.

Bottle from a Bio-Markt in Leipzig. Fresh and smooth beginning. Quite dry with grainy hints. Easy to drink, very clear and crisp. Nice malty-dry hints with a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Round and nice with smooth yeasty hints.

Draft at Eiderdown. Barley malt, lemon, and hay aroma. Hazy pale yellow with small head. Sweet lemon, barley malt, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Excellent - probably enjoyed this more since it’s been so long since I’ve have a proper zwickelbier.
