Bottle from Tommie Sjef, handwritten label (before it had the name :-)), large sample. Slight hazy dark golden to amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of funk, tartness, slight horseblanket, slight vanilla and oak wood. I wonder if I would have noticed the barrel if I hadnt known. Probably not, very delicate character. Smooth geuze like sourness and carbonation, mostly centered around citric acid and a bit lactic acid, which I prefer. Slight dry in the finish with a hint of caramel, vanilla and oak wood. Very well balanced again.
