33cl swing top bottle. Pours clear dark amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of red malt, leaves, citrus hops. Taste of red malt, medium bitter hops, citrus, spruce, leaves, good one!

Bottled, from Biershop Baden-Württmemberg. Clear nut brown, small head. Bready nose. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready with notes of wood and grass. Low-medium bitterness.

Bügelverschlußflasche(courtesy of Kevnic ):Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head with a little lace; mild to moderate caramelly and dark-malty nose, not too sweet; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, but at least quite soft; pretty short sweetish-caramelly finish with a subdued bitterness. All in all quite O.K ,but relatively thin…

* Old rating. Thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Best before 30.08.10. Nice caramel-malty beer. Not much bitterness, not too deep, slightly sweetish, nice.

A nice dark beer with burnt sweet coffee palate and dry herbal aftertaste. An interesting blackcurrent aroma.
