Eftersom vårat kafferosteri håller till i samma byggnad som bryggeriet så kändes det självklart att en kaffe-ale skulle göras , vi valde dock som vanligt att inte göra som alla andra och göra en jättemörk öl för detta expriment utan vi gjorde en ljusare variant med mycket vete för en saftig skumkrona.
En riktigt god öl med mycket smak, servera gärna lite varmare än vanligt för att njuta fullt ut av kaffetonerna. Denna ölen utvecklar sig fint med lite lagring och blir bara bättre med tiden.

Bottle. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty coffee aroma. Fruity malty coffee caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty coffee caramel hoppy finish.

Appearance: Amber colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, coffee.
Body: Full body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Coffee, malt, some chocolate and liquorice, caramel.

33cl bottle from a trade with omhper, many thanks! Pours clear deep reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, dark malt, coffee, chocolate. Taste of dark/red malt, sweet chocolate malt, coffee, liquorice, nice!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Malty nose with light coffee. Mid sweet with full body and dense rounded mouthfeel. Sweet dark bread, notes of licorice, some coffee. Mid bitter finish. Really solid.
