(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, muddy brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Slightly meaty smoke-malty and delicately roasted aroma with notes of caramel, dark chocolate, vanilla and hints of rye bread. Moderately sweet and mildly roasty bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a creamy carbonation. Mildly roasted malt character with a silky mouthfeel, notes of dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, subtle cherry-fruits, rye bread and a smoky touch, which is getting slightly stronger towards the slightly meaty and roasted sweet-bitter finish with hints of vanilla and a whiff of marzipan in the aftertaste. The alcohol is well-embedded. Very good. 26.I.17

0,33 l bottle bought at Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. 4,99 €. A cloudy darkest brown in the glass with reddish edges against the light. More smokey torf whiskey than malt on the nose. Taste starts smooth, roasted malt, some whiskey and torf. Fruity and sweetness in the second row but present. Alcoholic elements. Always smokey. Getting dry in the aftertaste. Really nice.

33cl bottle. Pours dark reddish brown colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, hints of smoke, vanilla and some meat. Taste of dark roasted malt, sweet chocolate, medium smoked malt, vanilla, coffee, wow this is delicious!

Süßlich rauchiger Geruch. Weich rauchiger Beginn, die milde Süße begünstigt das Aroma. Hintergrund-Herbe, trockene Nuancen von Vanille, Schokolade, dann fährt die Rauchigkeit einen Ticken zurück, das Porter bleibt vollmundig. Mittellanger, süßlich würziger Nachhall. 8/11/12/12/11/11
