Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweet banana with bready wheat, spicy yeast, banana bread, and a hint of citrus. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent Weizen, fairly heavy on the banana.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours bright gold with a large white head. Aroma has only a hint of cardamom - mostly yeast/spice. Med body. Flavor is mostly yeast/spice with some banana. Bare hint of cardamom or citrus. Fairly wheaty. Good beer but could be mistaken for a hefeweizen.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy white head. The aroma is banana with a hint of old-fashioned linoleum paste. Approaching med body. Flavor is very clove with some banana notes. Nice enough.

.5 can as Berliner Geschichte Hefeweizen Naturtrüb Bier. Brought back from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and kindly shared by Snegurochka at home. Clear golden straw body with small crisp and clear white head. Kind of pretty. Strong and almost overpowering aroma of ripe banana and some grain with hints of sweet malts and spices. A bit thin and watery in the mouth but nicely carbonated, i.e. quite lightly, and the mouthfeel contributes to a surprisingly long-lasting (after)taste. Not that said taste is very complex, again the banana is dominant but the initial sweetness gives way to some lingering spices in the aftertaste and has a lasting effect. Given the brashness you are first met with once taking in the aroma, the following combination of palate, lingering taste and traces of non-banana components is a pleasant surprise to be sure. By no means among the upper class of Hefeweizen, but still definitively drinkable.

500ml can, purchased at Tsum in Bishkek, and brought home because I didn't get time to drink it while in Kyrgyzstan. Pours a hazy golden body. Thin layer on top. Hint of lacing. Overall ripe banana, but also some spice: cardamom, coriander, grain, tobacco and flowery notes. Definitely would've been a better choice for drinking in warmer and sunnier Bishkek, than in chilly and dark Oslo.
Can as a Eibauer weizen bier. No totalna porażka. Totalnie bez mętności niemal kristalweizen zero drożdży, banana czy czegokolwiek. Mała piana prawie na zerowym poziomie.

hazy yelow colour, medium sized creamy yellowish ecru head; aroma of wet wheaty, citric and some clove notes; taste is the same with moderate banana and some metallic bittery, as well as spicy peppery aftertaste; not that bad, though nothing really notable here
Magus, nisune, moosine, banaanine, õrnalt õline, puuviljane. Ok.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is decent usual banana and clove with some creamy wheat malt. Flavor is about the same banana and clove with a creamy mouthfeel. A little thin but this was the best of the 3 I've had from the brewery.
